Lake Titicaca is the world's highest navigable lake, lying at 3,810 m (12,500 ft) above sea level in the Andes Mountains in the border between Peru and Bolivia. With 8,559 km2, it holds as much as forty-one islands, some of them densely populated. Its people have a long heritage of cultures & beliefs and still live the way their ancestors did hundreds of years ago, they welcome the visitor and proudly show them their way of life, inherited from their Inca and pre-Inca ancestors. to the top |

Our guides are mainly local, from Puno and Llachon, and are very familiar with the Lake, its flora, fauna and local cultures. They are well trained in sea kayaking safety procedures and rescue through a yearly course given by qualified instructors. to the top |
